IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVISORY CONCERNING CERTAIN NOAH’S ARK by PLAYGRO™ TOOTHY TEETHERS

On May 28, 2009, Playgro Pty Ltd. of Melbourne, Australia, issued a voluntary Safety Advisory concerning certain Noah’s Ark by Playgro™ Toothy Teethers.

Testing by Health Canada has revealed that the liquid inside the items contains viable micro-organisms and, although these micro-organisms are frequently found in the environment and do not generally cause illnesses, the teethers are not in compliance with certain parts of Canada’s Hazardous Products Act.

In Canada, this Safety Advisory affects only the Noah’s Ark by Playgro™ Toothy Teether Model #111753, with PO #28283 indicated on the tag attached to the product. 

In Canada, approximately 7,365 of the Noah’s Ark by Playgro™ Toothy Teethers were sold nationwide by major retailers and independent retailers from May 2008 through May 2009.
