CORRECTION REGARDING IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVISORY CONCERNING CERTAIN NUBY™ GEL FILLED PACIFIERS
On May 28, 2009, erroneous information was disseminated concerning Gel Pacifier by Nuby™ gel filled pacifiers, manufactured by Luv N’ Care Ltd. of Monroe, Louisiana.
The original Advisory listed the Gel Pacifier by Nuby™, model # 539504, among those items that were not in compliance with Canada’s Hazardous Products Act.
The Gel Pacifier by Nuby™ is in fact compliant with Canada’s Hazardous Products Act.
We regret any confusion the earlier Advisory may have caused.

IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVISORY CONCERNING CERTAIN NUBY™ GEL FILLED TEETHERS
On May 28, 2009, Luv N’ Care Ltd. of Monroe, Louisiana, issued a voluntary Safety Advisory concerning certain of their gel filled teethers.
Testing by Health Canada has revealed that the liquid inside the items contains viable micro-organisms and, although these micro-organisms are frequently found in the environment and do not generally cause illnesses, the teethers are not in compliance with certain parts of Canada’s Hazardous Products Act.
In Canada, approximately 125,071 of these Nuby™ gel filled teethers were sold nationwide by major retailers and independent retailers from May 2008 through May 2009.
ONLY those Nuby™ items listed below are affected by this Advisory and should be removed from the store shelves.
