The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) issued a report on October 1st, 2008, that provides their assessment of vehicle seat belt fit when using a belt-positioning booster car seat (booster car seat). This was not a compliance or safety evaluation, but more a study of the fit to child with a single size dummy, and not the full range of compliance dummies. The Graco TurboBooster Backless with Clip and the TurboBooster booster seats were rated as “best bet” and “good bet” respectively.
